Abstract

We are preparing immunoliposomes which encapsulate anticancer methotrexate to provide an efficient intracellular drug delivery system (DDS) in tumor cells. In this paper, concentrated methotrexate was encapsulated into liposomes by an extrusion method. We also evaluated properties of the liposomes such as particle size, encapsulation efficiency, dispersibility, and the leakage of MIX from liposomes.
