Proposal and design of sub-mW and high-speed polymer thermo-Optic switch

Abstract

Sub-mW power consumption polymer thermo-optic photonic switch is studied and demonstrated. The reported photonic switch operates with a power consumption less than 0.4mW with polarization independence and a very low crosstalk of less than -50dB.
