Abstract

We fabricated a 100 nm broadband hybrid wavelength tunable laser diode using a silicon photonics wavelength filter and a quantum-dot semiconductor optical amplifier (QD-SOA). Wavelength filter consists of double ring resonators using curved directional couplers.
