Abstract

Radiation effects on polymeric insulators have been studied actively in Japan by several universities and by national research institutes such as the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute (JAERI), as well as by several manufacturing companies. Some typical research studies done by such institutes are outlined in this paper.
