Radio over Fiber System for Uninterrupted High-Speed Railway Communications

Abstract

We show the application of radio over fiber networks to high-speed train communication systems. Network control by optical path switching realizes handover-free uninterrupted signal transmission for the car traveling at 240 km/h.
