Real-time data acquisition and processing in a miniature wireless monitoring system for strawberry during transportation

Abstract

It is reported that a practical real-time miniature wireless monitoring system on wireless sensor network for strawberry transportation is achieved. Through this system, we can realize the real-time monitoring over the status of the strawberry in transportation, which transfers the acceleration, temperature, and humidity data to remote server side wirelessly, supply the control center with the standard time and physical location combining GPS receiver. This paper mainly describes the data acquisition and processing in wireless sensor system for real-time strawberry transportation detection. The performance of this system is evaluated by transportation experiments.
