Requirements and considerations of energy harvesting for industrial wireless transmitter

    Abstract

    Energy harvesting technologies are drawing attention as "green power" these days. Conventionally, wireless device works with battery power, but it may not need any batteries when the wireless device combines with an energy harvester. Actually, there are a lot of issues to install wireless transmitters into industrial factory or plant. In this paper, requirements to combine industrial wireless transmitters and energy harvesters and issues to solve are listed up, and then expectation to solve them is considered.
