Rydberg excitons in Cu2O: From bulk to mesoscopic dimensions

Abstract

Playgrounds of Rydberg states are not limited to atoms. By reviewing radiative processes of Rydberg excitons in semiconductor Cu2O, we show that controlling material dimensions is an interesting approach to explore Rydberg physics in solid.
