Abstract

Over the past few years mobile communication service providers and contents providers have provided their subscribers with quite various services. And the communication networks have accordingly formed a series of complex network technologies by generations (2G, 1X, EV-DO, 3G, etc.). The value chain of simple pay-per-use system has also been moving toward making new profits through diverse services like charge of used contents. To meet the increasingly high subscriber needs and to create new market needs, implementing SQM (Service Quality Management) has become an essential research area. The industry started a debate on how to implement SQM function. In the data for implementing the SQM function there should be all the relevant conditions regarding the subscriber calls. By providing detailed information of the calls in near-real-time, service quality supervising and analyzing between the Network Managers and Service Providers, quality information supervising and managing between Network Managers and customers, and providing quality information between Network Managers and customers have been allowed.
