Sharp lower bounds for Coulomb energy

    Abstract

    We prove Lp lower bounds for Coulomb energy for radially symmetric functions in ?Ḣs(ℝ3) with 1/2 <s <3/2. In case 1/2 <s ≤ 1 we show that the lower bounds are sharp.
