Silicon photonics devices for optical interconnection

Abstract

For optical interconnection, we demonstrated high-speed and high-efficiency optical modulator and photodetector by introducing nanostructure. Also, compact WDM optical source was developed using hybrid integrated semiconductor optical amplifier and silicon waveguide resonators.
