Silicon-platformed nonlinear waveguide in lithium niobate membrane

    Abstract

    A novel waveguide structure in Mg:LN membrane was developed on Si platform by wet and dry etching processes. Periodically poled structure in the membrane achieved QPM SHG at telecommunication band.
