Supercurrent through hybrid junctions with anisotropic cooper-pair condensates

Abstract

A general formula was derived for supercurrent through any type of hybrid junctions between unitary states with any symmetry and applied to novel BAB junctions in superfluid 3He. The π state formation mechanism due to l̂ textures in the A phase was proposed. The bistability of the pi; states was explained by two different (l̂ or n̂) textures in superfluid 3He systems.
