    Abstract

Reliability cost allocation strategy under competitive generation market is proposed. In this method, EUP (Expected Unserved Power) is applied to evaluate as an index of supply reliability. Reliability cost for the system is allocated to customers based on their desirable EUP value. Cost reduction is achieved by the concept of the supply reliability cost allocation.
