Abstract

Ureidopyrimidinone forms a stable duplex via a self-complementary quandruple hydrogen bonding. A porphyrin with two UPy moieties was synthesized by the reaction with activated isocytosine. The Supramolecular co-polymer was prepared by simply mixing the co-monomers, namely, the telechelic UPy unit of the porphyrin and poly-(ethylene butylene). The free-standing membrane was able to be prepared in a wide-ranged comonomer composition. The facilitated oxygen transport capability of the membrane will be also reported in connection with its phase-segregated morphology and its composition.
