Time delay effect in a living coupled oscillator system with the plasmodium of Physarum polycephalum

Abstract

The time delay effect in the plasmodial slime mold was accounted by using the living coupled oscillator system and by comparing experimental results with those of the theoretical analysis based on a simple mathematical model. It was found that in the plasmodial system, the amplitude death is absent.
