Two-color picosecond pulse generation using single-stage electro-optic mach-zehnder modulator

Abstract

We demonstrated two-color picosecond pulse generation using Mach-Zehnder-modulator-based flat comb generator. Parabolic phase compensation of the comb with a dispersion-flattened fiber yields colorless operation. 10-GHz 4-ps pulse trains were simultaneously generated at two different wavelengths.
