Abstract

The generation of ps-order-short and gigahertz high-repetition optical pulses in the ultra-wideband wavelength tuning range on a 1.2- to 1.3-μm band was successfully demonstrated using a hybrid mode-locked quantum dot optical frequency comb laser.
