Abstract
Serikawa et al. proposed a thermal environment evaluation method utilizing the CASBEE Housing Health Checklist. In this method, the operative temperature and floor temperature calculated by a simulation tool are converted into the score on warmth of houses in winter. However the evaluation method was not verified by subjective experiments. The purpose of this study is to verify whether the score on warmth corresponds to the actual vote. It was suggested that the score on warmth based on operative temperature and floor temperature accurately evaluates the living environment compared with the predicted mean vote, which assumes uniform thermal environment.
