N2 - This paper overviews wheel slip control methods on Japanese railways. Wheel slip control methods are categorized into wheel slip re-adhesion control, wheel slip keeping control and wheel slip prevention control. This paper shows examples of those methods and discuses feature of them. Also, this paper discusses evaluation method of slip controls, including passenger riding comfort.
