3-D comb electrodes for amperometric immuno sensors

An efficient electrochemical biosensor using 3-D comb electrodes was proposed and fabricated by simple micro fabrication technology. The dimensions of the fabricated 3-D electrodes were 10-20 μm in width, 10-20 μm spacing and 20-30 μm in height. The efficiency of the electrochemical reaction in the enzyme immunoassay demonstrated an increase for the 3-D electrodes compared with the 2-D electrodes. The 3-D comb electrodes is applicable for high sensitive enzyme immunoassays.
