N2 - As one of a anti slip control method for locomotives, "Wheel Slip Speed feedback control"is utilized, which reduces the motor torque according to the wheel slip speed. This control method can keep large torque if the gain of torque reduction to the wheel slip speed can be set large. However large gain sometimes generates the wheel speed vibration. This paper presents a method to decide the gain for torque reduction in order to utilize the tangential force as large as possible.
