N2 - A method of satellite network configuration control is proposed in which the transmitted power of multiple earth stations is controlled, and received power-differences are established among them to generate the capture effect. The performance of the proposed method is also evaluated. First, the outlines of the system configuration used in experiments are presented and the fabricated satellite circuit monitoring/control system and the concepts of inbound and outbound satellite communication network control are described. Next, experimental results on the capture effect are presented and the possibility of its uses in satellite circuits is considered. Further, the method of station switchover required in application of the capture effect applied to satellite communication network control is also proposed and its capabilities are assessed. Finally, the concept of so-called "stealthy transmission" is introduced as a new application of the capture effect. The satellite circuit switching required in sending the stealthy transmission is described and its possibility is verified.
