The primary factor behind the problems of semantic interoperability is semantic heterogeneity. Currently, ontology is the primary semantic force used for semantic interoperability. The popular methods used to overcome the problems are ontology connecting techniques which find or build up consistent interpretations between ontologies. Based on those techniques, we develop our own Connecting Ontology which is not a simplex technique, just like ontology mapping or merging. It is an independent ontology, and acting as mediation in-terface and describing the linking of heterogeneous entities (concepts, relations and properties) across different ontologies.
