Conservation laws for collisions of branes and shells in general relativity

抄録

The collission of self-gravitating n-branes in a (n+2)-dimensional spacetime was considered. A geometrical constraint, which could be expressed as a simple sum rule for angles characterizing Lorentz boosts between branes and the interveneing spacetime regions, was obtained. The constraint was then reinterpreted as either energy or momentum conservation at the collision.
