抄録

In the present study, three point bending tests are carried out on glass/epoxy laminates with a notch. Their fiber volume fraction is set at about 0. 4, and the number of ply is varied (18. 30. 50 and 100 ply). The effect of the thickness (3. 9,6. 0,10 and 20 mm) on the fracture toughness is examined experimentally. The electric potential method is used on the composite material for the detection of cracks, moreover its validity is also examined.
