In this century, sea-level rise (SLR) and increase in rainfall intensity due to global climate change (IPCC 2007) will engender groundwater level (GWL) rise in coastal regions. Because of this situation, in many areas made and published liquefaction hazard maps. But the high area of the liquefaction hazard does not always accord with the area where the damage occurred. So I think that it is important that to calculate the economic damage. The present study shows a method for an evaluation of economic damage. In this study, it applied to a past earthquake and this study made representative soil profile models and liquefaction hazard with "KOBE JIBANKUN". We assessed the appropriateness of existing method by evaluation result and suggested new method able to calculate near the real economic damage. I applied new method to East Tokyo and evaluated the economic damage of liquefaction induced by global climate change.
