    The experimental results and energy analyses on open cycle solar absorption system are described. The improved version of packed column type dehumidifier was made and experimented. The contact factor was around 0. 7-0. 9 over the dehumidification period. From energy analyses on the improved dehumidifier over-all mass transfer coefficient on 28 September, 1984 was 2350 g/m**3h DELTA x when air flow rate was 31m**3/h, and on 1 October, 1984 1350 g/m**3h DELTA x with the air flow rate of 19 m**3/h, and on 17 October, 1984 790 g/m**3 h DELTA x with the air flow rate of 7 m**3/h. The natural convective type regenerator was fabricated and experimented. During the 6 hours experiment on 24 September, 1984, total mass transfer rate was 1320g/kg when solar radiation on regenerator surface was 3765 Wh/m**2. Dry storage tank was proposed to use the merit that LiCl solution can be cooled without extracted mass transfer potential.
