Expression of liver specific genes in double layered co-culture of rat hepatocytes and human umbilical vein endothelial cells by cell sheet engineering

抄録

The liver specific genes expression level in double layered co-cultured system was investigated by the comparison with the monolayer cultured Fao cells. Human umbilical vein endothelical cells (HUVEC) were seeded and cultured at 37°C on temperature-responsive culture dish grafted with PIPAAm. RNA was extracted from the double-layered cell sheets co-culture and Fao cell to which the monomer was cultured. It was observed that the lever specific genes expressions of APO A-1 and APO C-III were related to the lipid metabolism, increased by double layered co-culture system compared with monolayer cultured Fao cells.
