title = "Fundamental study for scattering suppression in biological tissue using digital phase-conjugate light with intensity modulation",
abstract = "For transillumination imaging of an animal body, we have attempted to suppress the scattering effect in a turbid medium. It is possible to restore the optical image before scattering using phase-conjugate light. We examined the effect of intensity information as well as the phase information for the restoration of the original light distribution. In an experimental analysis using animal tissue, the contributions of the phase-and the intensity-information to the image restoration through turbid medium were demonstrated.",
