抄録

Numerical simulations were conducted to develop oscillatory flow and axial gas transport through a curved portion of pulmonary branch based on the Weibel model. The employed geometry of model airway comprises the circular angle of 35 degrees for the curved portion and the curvature ratio of 1/8, and the velocity profiles and the effective gas diffusivity in the axial direction is calculated.
