抄録

An increased penetration of wind energy into the power system will lead to instability of local voltage and global frequency in Japan. Power flow simulation is a powerful tool for understanding the electrical behavior in the power system caused by wind energy; however, plausible and various wind power profiles are required to perform a meaningful simulation to evaluate the effect of wind generators. This paper proposes a procedure of generating synthetic wind power profiles that involve the plausible short-term fluctuation for a power flow simulation based on the spatial kriging method and the bootstrap method.
