High-speed wavelength switching using an optical single-sideband modulator was presented. A dual-section fiber Bragg grating was used to demonstrate optical path switching. The rf-signal was modulated by pulses whose width and reputation were 450 ns and 1 μs respectively. Results indicated that wavelength conversion using an optical single-sideband modulator was found to have a high-speed switching time.
