Hubbard splitting and electron correlation in the ferromagnetic metal

We have studied the electronic structure of (Formula presented) by photoemission spectroscopy and specific heat measurements. The Cr (Formula presented) band shows a splitting into the upper and lower Hubbard bands with a small but finite density of states at the Fermi level, consistent with its metallic behavior. The small renormalization factor (Formula presented) signifies strong electron correlation, but is still large compared with many (Formula presented) transition-metal oxides.
