抄録

Cobalt meso-tetraethylporphyrin was adsorbed onto the surface of a carbon particle.The resulting particle efficiently catalyzed the reduction of oxygen. Several types of carbon particles were investigated as the support material for the catalyst. It was revealed that carbon particles with a large surface area provide effective catalysts, which were applicable as the cathode catalysts for fuel cells.
