抄録

An office robot, Jijo-2, was made as a testbed for autonomous intelligent systems that can interact and learn in the real world. It achieves the former through a combination of a microphone array, speech recognition module, and dialogue management module. In addition, it achieves the latter through statistical learning procedures by which the robot learns landmarks or features of its environment that let it construct useful models for navigation.
