Measurement of rotor magnet temperature and induced voltage during permanent magnet synchronous motor drive

抄録

This paper reports measurement results for rotor magnet temperature and induced voltage during drive of a permanent magnet type synchronous motor. Specifically, this paper summarizes the results of a basic experiment performed to identify the degree of rotor temperature rise, and the results of a detailed experiment and analysis to identify the thermal demagnetization phenomenon of the permanent magnet. While the rotor is rotating at high speed, it was confirmed that the magnet temperature increased to over 80°C. In addition, the thermal demagnetization phenomenon was also identified using finite element electromagnetic field analysis.
