Measurement of the electric field distribution on a resonant electrode in high-speed optical modulator using electro-optic sampling

抄録

By using electro-optic sampling technique, the electric field distribution on a resonant electrode for optical modulation was measured with resolution of a few micrometers. We showed that the measured electric field distribution at the edge of the electrode was different from the results obtained by an equivalent circuit model.
