No bit overhead MPEG video scrambling based on event shuffle in frequency domain

抄録

This paper proposes a video security scheme called "Event Shuffle" for the MPEG video compression standards. The prominent feature of the scheme is a shuffling of coefficient events generated after DCT transformation stage of MPEG. Experimental results show that this scheme provides no bit overhead for MPEG bitstream while achieving low processing overhead to MPEG codec. This new scheme makes a significant contribution to the development of secure video communication systems.
