The development of a technique for the realization of quantitative optical computerized tomography (CT) was presented to detect near-axis scattered light. The differential principle was involved in the technique using two detectors, which were placed on and off the optical axis of a collimated beam of incident light. The integrated value of the absorption coefficients along the propagation was obtained using time-resolved measurement technique.
