Synchronization in asynchronous cellular automata evaluated by local active information storage

抄録

Asynchronous cellular automata were studied in a term of information theory in this decade. While there are various methods to implement asynchronous updating, we define that each cell has its own internal clock which is interacted with neighboring clocks and that updating is controlled by the internal clock. The modulation of period of the internal clock results in a global and periodic synchronization which is not found in patterns of cells' state but in the pattern of development of local active information storage.
