Urban thermal environment measurement and evaluation using small-scale measuring equipment

抄録

The purpose of this study is to suggest a new urban thermal environment evaluation method using small-scale measuring equipment. Several studies have presented environmental counterplans, such as a dry mist, as methods to prevent heat stroke. However, those methods are expensive. Therefore, it is necessary to develop novel effective and efficient measures. In this study, field surveys were conducted during the summer in the outdoor environment using small-scale measuring equipment to identify comfortable and uncomfortable places. The “Good” and “Bad” maps visualized from the results of the field surveys were proposed as the new evaluation method.
